The Growing Young Minds Program
This program helps children to develop new thinking and learning skills to improve their understanding, attention, planning, organisation and achievement. Designed around inquiry-based learning this program incorporates engaging tasks in the development and practice of thinking and problem-solving skills.
Suitable for children struggling with their learning and progress ages 5-8 years of age.
Sip and Learn Labs
Specifically designed for parents and education professionals the theme for this term is LEARNING,THINKING and UNDERSTANDING – leaping forward to prepare children for the year ahead. Sessions are planned for parents after morning school drop off, lunch and learn for education professionals and as well after hours learning lab sessions for both.
The Westmead Feelings Program 1
This program is an emotion-based learning program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder [ASD] that teaches emotional understanding and social awareness in close collaboration with their parents and teachers. Not just clinic based, this program also develops parents’ and teachers’ emotion coaching skills, to support children to understand emotions, solve problems and manage their feelings in everyday settings.
Suitable for children with ASD and mild intellectual ability from the age of 6 - 8 years and 9-12 years.
